Kusahab is a local tape machine for the iPhone. It does not have accounts, it does not run a server for your shells, and it does not send your pictures or sound away from the phone.
| Access | Why it is asked for |
|---|---|
| Camera | Only when you tap Record a span on the Lay bench, so the span has a picture to write into a blank. |
| Microphone | Only when Sound on is turned on before a span is laid, so the span keeps its own audio. |
| Photo library (read) | Only when you tap Choose video or Choose photo, to bring one clip or one still into a blank. |
| Photo library (add) | Only when you tap Lift this span on Pile, to save one picture into Photos. |
| Notifications | Only after Continue, so a date you pick for one shell can reach you as a local reminder. |
Ferrite is a consumable in-app purchase handled by Apple. The app receives the verified transaction from StoreKit and records it locally. We do not receive your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the transaction itself.
Delete Account in the drawer removes every shell, span, picture, sound file, dubbed copy, and the remaining Ferrite from this phone. Deleting the app removes the same folder. There is no server side copy to ask us to erase.
Kusahab is a general purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. It has no social features, no public feed, and no way to contact another person from inside the app.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. A change that affects what the app reads will also be described in the App Store release notes.
